Easy, cheap, and beautiful are my three favorite things in a home decor project. This coffee filter wreath is all three. With coffee filters being dirt cheap this whole project only cost me about $14. While this project takes a little time to complete it is so easy. The end result is result gorgeous and has stood up well to little hands trying to dismantle it.
Materials
- 16" Styrofoam or Straw Wreath Form.
- Coffee filters (about 400)
- Glue Gun
- Pen or Pencil
- Ribbon for Hanging
Instructions
Wrap a coffee filter around the blunt end of a pen or pencil.
Add glue to the tip of coffee filter and glue it to the wreath form. Hold the coffee filter in place for a few seconds to let the glue dry slightly.
Continue to add coffee filter to the wreath until the styrofoam is covered. You can experiment with putting the coffee filters close together or further apart to see which look you like. (I packed my coffee filters very close together)
Once all of your coffee filters are attached you can optionally add a ribbon for easy hanging. Now it is time to hang your creation and enjoy.
